Aamir Khan’s “Dangal”, which released this Friday, has collected Rs. 29.78 crore in India on its opening day. <br /> <br />Trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the first day collection on his Twitter page and wrote: <br /> <br />“#Dangal wrestles demonetisation… Sets the BO on fire… Ends the lull phase… Fri ₹ 29.78 cr [incl ₹ 59 lacs from Tamil and Telugu].” <br /> <br />In an another tweet he wrote : “#Dangal Sat and Sun biz will be higher… Word of mouth is terrific… Expected to cross ₹ 100 cr mark in first 3 days… India biz”. <br /> <br />Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, “Dangal” is a biographical sports drama in which Aamir played Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. <br /> <br />It also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in key roles. <br />Share this:
